2012-2013 Guidelines for Students in Art and Art History

Studio Arts Laptop Requirement

Students entering UNL in Fall 2012-Spring 2013 and majoring in a studio art area are required to own or bring a laptop computer ready for use in classrooms and studios. In addition, all Studio Arts majors are required to own two software packages from Adobe: a specific version of Adobe Creative Suite 5, and Lightroom 3 or higher.

The laptop must meet or exceed the specifications listed at Art and Art History Laptop Specifications.

Art History - No Laptop Requirement

There is no laptop requirement for students entering in Art History. For recommendations for general use in Art History, see Art and Art History Laptop Specifications.
