Youth will better understand what kinds of garments are most becoming on them as they learn more about fabrics and styles, and find out how to alter patterns for a better fit. Quality characteristics of constructed garments help them gain skills to improve their sewing. Clothing Level II moves beyond Clothing Level I, as it includes skills such as putting in sleeves, matching plaids, doing more complex seam finishes, and inserting collars and zippers.
