UNL Marketplace is a centralized eCommerce platform for the units and departments of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. It was developed to provide a single, robust infrastructure for online transactions, integrated into the university website. Each store within the Marketplace is maintained by a representative of that respective unit/department.
The Marketplace system and infrastructure is developed, maintained, and supported by the university's Internet and Interactive Media group, which is a partnership of the Office of University Communication and Information Technology Services.
We have partnered with UPS and the United States Postal Service to provide shipping service to our customers.
How does shipping work?
Based on the items placed in your cart, we instantly request a shipping quote from our carriers. This shipping quote is calculated by the carrier based on the weights of your items and the average package size. The shipping amount is not determined by UNL Marketplace or store owners.
Please note: UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes. When providing shipping address information, please provide a full street address to ensure quick and accurate delivery.
Under normal circumstances an order should be processed within two days and a shipping confirmation, along with tracking details (if applicable), should be sent.
In some cases, we can accommodate international shipping. However, due to the wide variety of products/services offered, you should attempt to contact the store first to confirm product availability and more accurate shipping expectations.
How long will shipping take?
After an order is processed and handed over to a shipping carrier, the carrier is responsible for the timely delivery of your item(s). Depending on the service level you requested from that carrier, the time to delivery can range from 1 day to 8 or more [business] days.

Located in/around Lincoln?
Many stores within UNL Marketplace have elected to offer in-store pickup for their items at no cost to the customer. If you are shopping in one particular store and that store offers in-store pickup, that shipping method will be displayed with information about the retail location where you will be able to pick up your order. After placing your order, the store's processing staff will notify you when your order is ready for pick up.

Charges from all stores in the Marketplace will appear on your card statement as being from UNL MARKETPLACE.
Please note, all business is conducted using USD currency. International banks may charge extra fees for automatically/dynamically converting local currencies. By shopping with us, you are agreeing that you are responsible for any charges/fees regarding currency conversion.
Due to university and state regulations at this time, we are unable to provide other methods of online payment, such as PayPal.

Tax Exempt Customers
If you are shopping as a tax exempt entity, we can setup your account to be tax exempt while shopping in any of our stores. However, due to tax regulations and laws we are required to have the proper tax forms before you begin shopping online.

Each store in the Marketplace maintains their own specific return and refund policies. In general, UNL Marketplace stores will work with you to resolve any complaints or claims regarding damaged, defective, receipt of wrong items.
