The intent of this Home Study Course is to increase the user’s awareness and understanding of irrigation management concepts. This in turn can help producers reduce irrigation application amounts and increase uniformity of application, thereby reducing deep percolation and runoff. The end result can be reduced irrigation costs, increased efficiency, increased yields and reduced surface and groundwater contamination. The target audience for this course includes: crop consultants, agency personnel, irrigated crop producers and others interested in improving their irrigation water management skills.
