Revision of the Classification of the Pleistocene Deposits of Nebraska (GSB-23)

Description

Reed, E. C., Dreeszen, V. H., 1965. Revision of the Classification of the Pleistocene Deposits of Nebraska (GSB-23): 65 pp., size 6" x 9". Description: The first major contribution of the Conservation and Survey Division to Pleistocene stratigraphy was that of A. L. Lugn (1935) who established a classification of the periglacial deposits of the state and related these deposits to the glacial stages. G. E. Condra and E. C. Reed (1950) used information aquired during the 1935-1950 period in making important revisions to Lugn's classifications. This report was a further revision based on studies made from 1950 to publication date (1965).
