If you wish to extend your AIG TravelGuard insurance coverage to cover personal travel before or after your program (or other university-sponsored travel), please follow the below steps for payment via credit or debit card. Please note this insurance extension is only available to students who are covered by AIG TravelGuard insurance during their program (i.e. “Nebraska Abroad” programs). If you are participating on an affiliate program, please reach out to your affiliate to inquire about extending your insurance coverage abroad.
- Choose the option for the number of additional number of days for which you need coverage. Credit and debit card payments may only be processed online.
- The Global Experiences staff cannot accept payment by credit or debit card in the office.
Cancellation Policy:
It is the participant's responsibility to communicate coverage cancellation to the Global Experiences Office before their travel start date. Dependent on timing, late refund requests may be partially or non-refundable.
