This General Standards core material provides the overview required for all commercial/noncommercial applicators. This is the foundation for one or more of Nebraska categories. It covers the principles and practices of pest control and proper and effective use of restricted use pesticides. Topics include safety/first aid, procedures, formulations, equipment, calibration, as well as labeling, laws/regulations, transportation/spills, environmental considerations, integrated pest management, and more. A person seeking certification as a commercial/noncommercial applicator must pass anexam on this core material, and an exam on each additional category relevant to the person's job. Recertification and relicensing is required every 3 years for General Standards and any additional categories.

General Standards is the one category that all applicators have in common. EVERYONE who receives a license must pass a test over the General Standards and must renew the General Standards everytime he/she recertifies. When ordering this selection, you will receive the Nebraska Pesticide Applicator Certification Core Manual and a folder containing other study materials.

Includes fumigant applications to rodent burrows for the control of pests such as prairie dogs.
