  • Describe the role of chlorophyll in photosynthesis.
  • Explain why leaves change color in the fall.
  • Identify some of the pigments found in leaves.
  • Investigate how different leaves vary.
  • Collect and interpret simple data.
  • Explain how trees prepare for winter.
