College 101

College 101 is a college readiness piece developed by the Nebraska Extension Recruitment Team for use with upper elementary and middle school audiences. The college prep guidelines include tips on how college starts in high school, how to follow your passion to a career, how to pay for college and how to find a college that is the right for you. This brochure can be used as a companion piece to the newly developed 5th and 6th grade college readiness curriculum or as take home material to accompany any 4-H programming or school enrichment. Excerpts could be used in social media posts and statements were designed to meet Twitter feed character requirements.
