Building Better Babysitters - Teen Workbook (Digital)

Knowledgeable and safe babysitters are a valuable resource. This five session curriculum targets 12-18 year old young people interested in babysitting for either family members or through their own business. These sessions share basic safety, knowledge, and appropriate play for babysitting all age groups. This training also touches on nutritious snacks, how to handle emergencies, and starts youth thinking about babysitting as a business. Building Better Babysitters aims to increase young people’s confidence in caring for children. The Facilitator Guidebook assists educators in creating a consistent program in which their biggest responsibility it for youth to learn their responsibility as a babysitter. The Teen Workbook allows for one place for youth to follow along with the training and keep all their notes and additional information from the training.
