This set of two Extension Community Lessons provides information about how to create a responsive, stimulating, affirming, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children, from birth to 3 years.

The Learning Child: Keys to Enhancing Learning — This Leader Guide (HEF594) contains a lesson plan, a PowerPoint® presentation, suggested activities, and other material to show how children learn and how to stimulate them. An evaluation form is included for participants to provide feedback on the lesson.
