A Preliminary Study of the Animal Ecology of the Niobrara Game Preserve (CB-10)

Description

Beed, W. E., 1936. A Preliminary Study of the Animal Ecology of the Niobrara Game Preserve (CB-10): 33 pp., size 6" x 9". Description: This bulletin deals with the results of one summer's work on what was then known as the Niobrara Game Preserve, Cherry County, Nebraska. At that time, the preserve was located east of Valentine, extending across the southern border of Crookston Table, the Niobrara Valley, a high bench land capped by sandy soil and on to a sandy transitional area bordering the Sand Hills. That part of Crookston Table was a short-grass area grazed only by native animals.
