Description: This bulletin is a summary of all the oil and gas drilling activity during the 1958 and 1959 calendar years. About 1650 tests for oil and gas were drilled in the state during the 1958-1959 biennium. All non-productive (dry holes) and all of the producing wells that resulted in the discovery of new oil or gas fields are listed but additional producing wells in discovered fields are not.
