Description
Condra, G. E., Busby, C. E., 1933. The Grenola Formation (GSP-1): 31 pp., size 6" x 9". Description: This paper describes the Neva limestone and certain beds below it as a formation. The Neva was named and defined by Prosser, from Neva, Chase County, Kansas; however, in places, strata lower in the section than those at the type locality have since been classed as part or all of the Neva. Also, close regional study made by the authors and others, shows that the Neva is only the upper member of a well-defined formation, which we name and describe as the Grenola.
