Groundwater Flow Model and Analysis of Quantity Triggers for the Lower Salt Creek Groundwater Reservoir, eastern Nebraska (OFR-108) 2011, Korus, Jesse Description: This report details the construction, calibration, and results of a groundwater flow model for the Lower Salt Creek Groundwater Reservoir in eastern Nebraska. It includes data on base flow measurement in Salt Creek and its tributaries, stream bed permeameter tests, an aquifer test, and test hole drilling. The model simulates pre-development (pre-1955) conditions, historical conditions from 1948-2009, and several future scenarios from 2010-2060. It is used to analyze groundwater-level management triggers and stream depletions and was prepared in cooperation with the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District.
