Description
Ayers, J. A. 1989. Hydrogeology of the Lower Platte Valley Alluvial Aquifer (OFR-41). 118 pp. + 2 over-sized maps. Description: The main purpose of this study was to apply the principles of geoelectric measurements to determine the thickness and map the areal extent in greater detail of the near-surface, low-resistivity unit. Field activities involved establishing 57 sounding stations across the western portion of the Platte River valley within the vicinity of the northern part of the Lincoln well field. These stations were in addition to the 33 of the pilot study. The analytical results from a total of 88 vertical electrical soundings form the data base of this report.
