Description: The purpose of this report was to define and establish the natural subdivisions of the Big Blue Series in Nebraska as a basis for geological mapping and for the close study of sediments and faunal groups. Also, the correlation were intende to contribute to the survey of such resources as groundwater, stone and clay, and should offer some guidance in prospecting the oil and gas possibilities of the state.
